The works undertaken are sanitation, community baths, improvement of burial grounds, dhobhi ghats etc.
Women belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) Families are made aware and encouraged to take part in self-help groups. Leadership among them is promoted and continuous savings are encouraged.

The member can pay weekly or monthly and the amount(minimum Rs.10/-) is remitted to their individual savings account in the bank. In this way, they can avail loans which can make them financially stable. Weekly or monthly discussions are held where all members of the group are expected to participate.
The members who save for one complete year are given an incentive of Rs.1000/- as a rewarding fund.
