JAIN MONUMENTS AT ARETIPPURU

Arethippur is a modern name which was earlier called as Thippeyur. This is historical place, here we can find 10 feet idol of Bahubali which is located at the top of Shravannappa Betta and it is made in single rock. On the top of the big rock there is a pool which was filled with green natural water. The villager using this water for drinking specially in festival season they are making pooja here. Arethippuru was civilized to Jainism, we can found many house made in top up big rock there is famous temple called Jaineswar Temple. There are two big rock edicts written about history of this village in Pali languages.
